Nine stockings
Noah had been desperately wanting a pet for over a year now. He drove us crazy for so long, and finally decided to be patient for a few months. For his birthday, we ended up getting these two crazies from another family on Craigs list. Still not sure about the whole thing, but they sure are cute and the kids are having so much fun with them. Noah named them Mercury and Pica. I was hoping for ones that love to be held and never bite, but um, Noah gets bit regularly. Never hard, and the way I see it, it is toughening him up greatly and is good for his character, right? They don't mind being held really, though, and have warmed up to us and we give them lots of fresh veggie goodness. Santa even brought them some carrots and a new water bottle that doesn't leak. That was a lot of stockings in this house for Santa. Wait... Santa also filled some stocking for the Missionaries since we had them over for dinner on Christmas Eve--that makes 11 stockings...
