So today was Noah's very last day of kindergarten. I don't feel old enough to have a child almost in first grade! Anyway, he was very excited for this day and they had a beach party at school. But once it was over, he got very sad about not ever seeing his friends or his great teacher, Mrs. Hood, again. I haven't had to deal with this yet, and am not sure how to help my kids deal with losses yet, especially since we are about to move to Florida for 3 months and then to Virginia. Younger kids are a little more adaptable, or a lot.

Ending the school year is tough. My daughter is switching schools next year and is nervous about leaving all of her friends. But, they do adapt. My daughter will be in 2nd grade. So strange. . .
