Giggles

Micah was in such a giggly mood tonight as I put him to bed. There is no better sound the delighted giggles of a baby! He was laughing enought to hurt even my stomach muscles at first but of course the lights were off and I didn't have the camera, and had to yell for Noah to go and get it, and by then his giggles were about half as good, but still cute. Horrible video, but cute sounds...

Shanendoah Crossing

Our good friend Emily and her husband Keith have a time share sort of thing and she booked a couple of nights in the Shandendoah Valley for all of us to go just before her husband got back from his deployment. So we were there last weekend. It was so beautiful. We stayed in a perfect little log cabin that I would live in forever, and the kids got to ride a pony, swim, go in a paddle boat a couple of times, do crafts, a little hike and lots of exploring. We weren't there long, just enough time to do everything a little, have a blast and come home. We are thankful for great friends!Ammon

Dinner

Emily and the boys

Partners in crime

So fun to watch two little ones similar in age as they are learning to interact with others and with each other. Grace has been the little sister in our family, especially while daddies were both gone. We just switched off having dinner at each others houses every night that one of us didn't have something else going on, and that helped make the crazy dinner hour much more fun and bearable, not to mention how it kept me from serving chicken nuggets and cold cereal to my kids for dinner every night. Why is dinner so much harder to keep healthy when your husband is gone anyway?

Breakfast with the animals

We got up crazy early last Saturday just so we could go to the zoo before it opened and eat breakfast there and watch the animals gets there breakfast. It seemed like a fun and up close and personal thing to do, exclusively for members--so we thought. It turned out to be the event to go to, with lots of people, but was still fun.

NINE YEARS

Wow, I sure don't know where the time has gone. I think back to Aug 18th nine years ago, and it was such a perfect and happy and fun day. Nothing could have gone better, I can't imagine being happier or loving someone more. Yet here I am 9 years later, and I feel like I love him 10 times more than I did that day. How is that even possible? It's so fun to think back to those days and remember every detail. Time has just continued to speed up every year, and sometimes I feel a little panicked about how fast it goes. I am so grateful the Lord loved me enough to lead us together and has continued to bless us and guide us. The best decision I ever made was to marry this man who is such a good husband and father and friend. Happy Anniversary a few days late!

Pioneer Day

We had a little ward get together with a picnic, parade and some games on pioneer day. What cute little pioneer boys.
